Short Introduction:
The endemic Ethiopian Wolf, which lives in the Sanetti Plateau in the park’s north, can be found in the Bale Mountains National Park. The immense Harenna Forest, a jungle-like habitat home to a large diversity of wildlife, may be found further south.

Itinerary
Day 1: Trek Dinsho to Sodota
You will have a 5-6 hour bale highlands trek to Sodota, passing by the Finch Habera waterfall and the confluence of the Web and Wolla rivers. This location is excellent for bird watching, especially raptors, as well as the potential to witness the rare and endangered Ethiopian Wolf.
Set your camp in the Sodota campground for the night.
DAY 2: Hike Sodota to Wasama Campsite.
You’ll go via Meraro Valley for 5-6 hours today to get to Wassema Wilderness Campsite. The pathways are primarily covered in Erica vegetation, which leads to afro-alpine ecosystems. Arrive at the campsite, which is located at the base of Wassema Mountain (4200 meters), and if time allows, do a short 1-hour hike to the summit, which offers spectacular panoramic views.
DAY 3:TREK WASSEMA TO SANETTE CAMP.
Leaving the Wassema hills behind, you will head towards Sannette for 6-7hours, following Worgona valley.
Here the scenery changes dramatically as you pass the magnificent sheer cliff of Arch’aah. From here heading to Sanetti pass via the craggy plug of Batu (4307m) and camp overnight in Sanette camp.
DAY 4: You will be picked from the Sanetti Campsite – Tulu Dimtu – Drive to Goba/ Robe
Today after a leisurely breakfast you will pack up your tents as soon as met with our car. Then drive to the highest point of Ethiopia Tullu Demtu 4377 ” Red mountain” in the local language) for a chance to see more Ethiopian wolves and you will get back to Robe.
